Privacy Policy
Effective: 1 May 2026
01Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Tryjolt Solutions Private Limited (“TryVox”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit our website, create an account, use our APIs or otherwise interact with the TryVox communications platform.
We act as a data fiduciary (controller) for personal data we collect about our customers, prospects and website visitors. When you use our Services to send messages or place calls to End Users, you act as the data fiduciary for that End User personal data and we act as your data processor, handling that data on your instructions to deliver the Services.
This policy is written with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) in mind, and applies global protections in comparable terms to users in other jurisdictions, including the EEA and the UK.
02Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, GSTIN (where applicable), KYC documents required by Indian telecom regulations (such as PAN, address proof and authorised signatory details) and the credentials you set.
Communications metadata
When you place calls, send messages or use SIP trunks we automatically record metadata such as the originating and terminating numbers, timestamps, duration, status codes, IP/transport details, route, cost and quality metrics. This is required for billing, fraud prevention, compliance with carriers and regulators, and to power your dashboards.
Content
Depending on the feature, we may temporarily process the content of calls or messages — for example, when you have explicitly enabled call recording, transcription or voice-AI features. We process this content only as needed to deliver the feature you enabled. Content storage settings are configurable in your dashboard.
Payment information
When you top up your wallet, payment details (such as card number, UPI VPA or bank details) are collected and processed by our payment-gateway partners. We receive only a tokenised reference and transaction status; we do not store full payment instrument numbers on our systems.
Technical & usage data
We collect device, browser, IP, log and event data when you use our website and dashboard, including pages viewed, API calls made, features used and errors encountered. This is used to operate, secure and improve the Services.
Communications with us
When you contact our team for sales, onboarding or support, we collect the information you choose to share, including the contents of your messages and any attachments.
03How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Services and to fulfil the agreements we have with you;
- Authenticate users, verify identity, run KYC/DLT checks and comply with telecom-sector regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate;
- Generate accurate billing, calculate taxes, issue invoices and collect payments;
- Monitor and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, prohibited content, traffic-pumping schemes and security incidents;
- Provide customer support, respond to enquiries and notify you of service-related events;
- Analyse aggregated and de-identified usage to improve our Services, measure performance and develop new features;
- Send service announcements, security alerts and, with your consent or where permitted by law, occasional product or marketing communications you can opt out of at any time;
- Comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
04Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract— to provide the Services you have signed up for;
- Legal obligation— to meet our obligations under Indian telecom, tax and data-protection laws (and equivalent laws abroad);
- Consent— for cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, and for marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time;
- Legitimate interests— to keep the platform secure, prevent abuse, improve the Services and operate our business, in each case balanced against your rights.
06Data Retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet our legal, tax, regulatory, accounting and compliance obligations. Different categories of data have different retention horizons:
- Account and KYC records are retained for the life of the account plus the periods required by telecom and tax laws in India after closure.
- Call and message metadata (CDRs) are retained for the periods mandated by applicable regulations and our carrier agreements, and used for billing reconciliation and audit.
- Recordings and transcripts, where enabled, are retained for the period configured in your dashboard or agreed in your order form. You can delete them earlier where the law allows.
- Logs are retained for shorter operational windows aligned to our security and reliability needs.
When personal data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
07Data Security
We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include encrypted transport for API traffic, encryption of sensitive data at rest, role-based access controls, environment isolation, audit logging, and routine security review of code, infrastructure and vendors.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys safe and for configuring access in your account in line with the sensitivity of your data. Please notify us at team@tryvox.io if you suspect an incident.
08Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request erasure of personal data where the law permits and where retention is not required for legal or operational reasons;
- Withdraw consent for processing based on consent, at any time;
- Nominate, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, an individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity;
- Lodge a grievance with our grievance officer (see below).
To make a request, write to us at team@tryvox.io from the email associated with your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will respond within the timelines required by the applicable law.
Where you contact us about personal data of an End User that we process on behalf of one of our customers, we will route your request to that customer; they are best placed to act on it.
10International Data Transfers
The Services are operated primarily from infrastructure located in India and select international regions. Where we transfer personal data outside the country where it was collected — for example, when a sub-processor or AI partner is hosted abroad — we apply contractual protections and only transfer to jurisdictions not restricted by applicable law.
11Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and developers and are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact team@tryvox.io so we can take appropriate action.
12Grievance Officer
A grievance officer for the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Rules, 2011 is to be appointed. Until that appointment is made and published here, you may direct any grievance, request or query about your personal data to:
- Email: team@tryvox.io
- Postal address: Tryjolt Solutions Private Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
We will acknowledge your request within a reasonable period and respond substantively within the timelines required by applicable law.
13Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, in technology or in the law. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, give you notice by email or through the dashboard before they take effect.
